Capital Investments, the investment arm of Capital Bank Group, announced the successful completion of the initial offering period for the Capital Investments Global Fund, with subscriptions exceeding the Fund’s minimum capital requirement.

In an official notice submitted to the Jordan Securities Commission following the close of the offering period, the company said total subscriptions reached JOD 2,223,500, surpassing the minimum required capital of JOD 2 million and resulting in a subscription coverage ratio of 111.175%.

The strong level of investor participation reflects confidence in the fund and growing demand for investment solutions that provide access to global markets within the advanced regulatory and supervisory framework established by the Jordan Securities Commission for mutual investment funds.

He added that the fund is managed by a specialized team with expertise in market analysis, risk assessment, and asset allocation, offering Jordanian investors a convenient and efficient way to gain exposure to a broad range of global financial instruments under professional local management.

The Capital Investments Global Fund is the first open-ended global investment fund in Jordan to be registered and managed locally and denominated in Jordanian dinars. It aims to build a diversified and balanced portfolio comprising global equities, fixed-income instruments and bonds, cash, and money market instruments, in line with the risk parameters and investment framework set out in its prospectus.

The fund’s open-ended structure offers investors greater flexibility, allowing subscription and redemption requests to be submitted monthly in accordance with the Fund’s net asset value and the terms and deadlines specified in its prospectus.

During the initial offering period, the minimum subscription amount was set at JOD 1,000, with units offered at JOD 1 each. Subscription fees were waived during the offering period to encourage investor participation.

The successful completion of the initial offering expands the range of investment opportunities available to both individual and institutional investors in Jordan. It also strengthens the role of institutional investment funds in mobilizing and growing savings, while supporting the efficiency and competitiveness of Jordan’s capital market within the Kingdom’s regulatory and supervisory framework.
